B.I.K.E.S.  Ride & Event Schedule

February Rides

Monday afternoons, February 6, 13, 20, 27:  Centennial Trail Rides. Start time 2:45 p.m.  Social pace, 10 to 34 miles.  Rain, snow, sleet, hail, thunderstorms and extremely heavy fog cancels. (Its a good idea to bring a drink, snack, and extra inner tube.)  Phone for start point, evenings between 6 and 9 p.m. or day of ride between 2 and 2:15 p.m.  Ride leader Bill Lutterloh, 360-668-9554 or lutterlohb@aol.com.  

Thursday, February 2 and February 9:  Start from Tracy Owen Park and ride the trail to Redmond.  Social/moderate pace, 25 miles.  Lunch afterwards at Third Place Books.  Call Elaine Scott at (425) 355-4510 for start time.

Tuesdays Training Ride (February 21):  Here is a 20-mile ride from North Everett to Snohomish via River Road and back via the trestle.  The ride starts from Neighbors Café at 15th and Rucker at 10 a.m.  This is a moderate paced ride with A terrain.  We will regroup as necessary but will not have a food stop until the end, when those who would like can have a sandwich at Neighbors.  Ride leader is Mason Rutledge, rutledge3m@earthlink.net or 425-789-1175.  Rain cancels.

Saturday February 4:  Shoreline Interurban and More – This 30-35 mile ride will be in north King County and north Seattle. Social, some hills, a food stop. Start at Aurora Village Park & ride at 10:00 AM. This ride is in honor of George Washington being unanimously elected the first President of the United States by the Electoral College 2/4 1789

Saturday February 11 : 47 miles Arlington - Machias Station loop (McClinchy route) moderate pace. Start in Arlington; bring snacks, eat after, rain cancels. Call for details. Dan & Elaine Scott 425-355-4510.

Sunday February 12 : ACHIEVE.  Snohomish to Arlington and back on the Centennial trail.  About 30 miles at a steady social pace on A terrain.  Ride time about 3 hours.  We'll break for stretching along the way as needed.  Bring snacks.  Optional lunch in Snohomish at the end.  Meet near the Snohomish public restrooms for a 10:00 a.m. start.  Adverse weather may cancel.  Ride leader Debby Grant, 425 778-5530 or debby@jaygrant.com.

Saturday February 18: BIKE EXPO. If you are interested in leading a ride, post it on the Ride_Changes page on the website.

Sunday February 19: BIKE EXPO. If you are interested in leading a ride, post it on the Ride_Changes page on the website.

Saturday February 25 : ACHIEVE. Arlington - Stanwood (McClinchy route) 33 miles, steady social pace, A terrain. Ride time about 3+ hours, lunch in Stanwood. Weather may cancel, call for details. Elaine Scott 425-355-4510 or Debbie Kawamoto 425-349-2209.

Sunday February 26 :  McCollum Park to 3rd Place Books.  Start at McCollum Park at 10am and ride south to have lunch at Third Place Books at Lake Forest Park.  Approximately 30 miles at social pace with a/b terrain.  Snow, ice and heavy rain cancels.
