 Weekday rides

Tuesday evenings  July 11, 18, 25 :  Join Seattle Bicycle Club for a south-end ride.  Approximately 20 miles, moderate pace, A/B terrain.  Meet in the QFC parking lot in Richmond Beach at 6:15 for a 6:30 start.  Visit www.seattlebike.org for more details and check the BIKES ride change page for last minute updates.  Ride leader Debby Grant 425 778-5530 debby@jaygrant.com.

Saturday, July 8 - Lake Stevens Tri Ride, brisk pace, 29 miles, meet at Lake Stevens Library at 8 a.m. I may lead a moderate 12 mile loop around the lake before launching into the hilly triathlon route. More details on Ride Changes Page. Kristin phone (360) 658-2462, email Kinnamonk@aol.com.


Sunday, July 9  -  Samish Lake - Chuckanut Dr.  Meet  at the Cook rd exit east of I-5 and 2 Blks south on Old 99. for this 46+ mile, social with regroups, A/B terrain ride and bring a lunch that can be enjoyed at Samish Lake County Park about 22 miles out. Sat/Sun, July 15 - 16 : STP.  Five BIKES members are registered and planning to ride STP in two days.  Let the leader know your start time and overnight location.  Ride leader Debby Grant 425 778-5530 debby@jaygrant.com.

 

Sunday, July 16  Ride is the Mosquito Fleet Trail in Kitsap County, see www.kitsapgov.com/mosquito/whatistrail.htm    Meet at Aurora Village Transit Center at 8:30.  We will ride the Interurban Trail and Seattle bike routes to catch the 10:15 ferry to Bremerton.  Then north via Illahee, Brownsville, Keyport, Poulsbo and Kingston.  Ferry back to Edmonds and up the hill to start point.  Estimate 55 miles, moderate pace, some hills.  John Carlin. 425-778-4529, johnecarlin@comcast.net

Saturday, July 22nd Conway to LaConner - 22 miles - Social Pace. Meet Patty at Conway School at 10:00 a.m. for a ride to LaConner. Bring $ for lunch. Heavy rain cancels so if in doubt please call Patty 360-435-0146 before 8:00 a.m. day of ride.
 

Sunday, July 23 -  Everett to Arlington Via Sunnyside and Marysville for breakfast (bring money) return on the Centennial trail through Snohomish Aprox. 60 miles, mostly flat, moderate pace, heavy rain cancels, start time 8:30 from S/E corner of Garfield Park. (2 blocks East of 23rd street and Walnut) ride leader Bill Weber  (425) 327-3516

 

July 29th, Saturday Distance Ride - Everett to Sultan Bakery by way of Snohomish and Monroe, 70+ miles (I'm guessing) social moderate pace A/B terrain.  Leave from Lowell Park (not the one on the river) at 9AM.  Lunch/snack at bakery.  Call Mike Snodgrass, (360) 653-2384 with Questions.
