Club Bylaws
Update
Discussion Continues
Proposed changes to the bylaws continue to be fine-tuned. Member
input on changes will be sought before a vote on revised bylaws,
tentatively scheduled for the day of next year’s McClinchy Mile
Ride, March 15.
As
with the club name change approved at last year’s holiday event,
any changes will need a quorum of 15% of club members and a
supermajority 60% approval to pass.

Potluck, Gifts, Prizes
All
BIKES Club members and their families are invited to attend the
annual Holiday Party & Gift Exchange on Saturday, Dec.
The party begins at 6 p.m. at the Community Room of the Carriage
Club Estates Mobile Home Park, 13320 Highway 99, graciously
arranged by our host Warren Bare.
For directions, see the website or call Warren at (425)743-7593.
Also contact Warren or Bill Weber to RSVP.
In
addition to a potluck dinner (club provides ham and
non-alcoholic beverages, you bring the rest) and the white
elephant gift exchange, we’ll hand our Frequent Rider Club
mileage awards.
Lighted Bike Ride
A
short lighted bike ride will precede the party, departing around
5 p.m. for an easy ride to see other people’s lights and show
off our own. To participate in the lighted ride, all you really
need is a simple headlight (aka flashlight duct taped to
handlebars) and rear flasher and a willingness to be seen with
people who have Christmas trees on their helmets and tinsel in
their tires.
