Weekend Rides

Saturday, December 1.
Mid Whidbey.  Start 10:00 A.M. Coupeville to Fort Casey. Social pace, 14 miles, A terrain with a couple hills. Start from Coupeville Town Park. From Highway 20, turn north on NW Broadway Ave, then right onto NW Coveland Street in 0.6 miles park is on left, or meet at Marysville Park & Ride on 6th and Ash at 8 AM to carpool, caravan. We will ride to the fort, explore the fort and lighthouse then continue to Coupeville for lunch in quaint downtown. Extra explore miles may be added at the end if desired.  Tail lights recommended. Saturday, December 1st.
Snohomish, Lk Stevens, Everett, Lowell, Snohomish. Starts at 10:00 AM  in Snohomish at the Centennial trail. (On Maple before Pine). Bring snack. 47 miles. Pace: moderate/brisk, terrain:C. Call Pier (425)349-5065 or email:

Sunday December 2.
Start At McCollum Park (East of I-5 on 128th) at 9:30 AM and will ride past Mill Creek  Woodinville, Bothell Kenmore and Lake Forest Park and return. Social / Moderate Pace, 30/36 miles, some hills, regroups and a food stop along the way. Horrible Ugly Disgusting weather cancels. Contact Warren Bare  (425) 743-7593 or

Lynnwood Park & Ride (Interurban Trail) to Shoreline  (and beyond)  Aprox. 22 miles 10:00 start, mostly A terrain, pace moderate, Rain,  snow,  ice cancel.  Ride leader Bill Weber  email president@bikesclub.org  Ph #(425) 327-3516  Bring money for lunch.

Saturday, December 22nd. Everett to Lake Stevens. Start 10:00 A.M. at Lowell Park in the gravel lot at the bottom of the hill. 30 ­ 35 miles, social pace, A terrain. Ride to Snohomish, then up the trail to Lake Stevens. Lunch at Neapolis and return. Hazardous weather cancels. It¹s a good idea to bring an extra inner tube and rain resistant top. Sunday, December 23rd.  Around the north end of Everett.  We will look for Christmas lights on a leisurely ride.  Meet at 6:00 PM NE corner of Garfield Park. This page is a great resource for last-minute happenings. Page down through the entries because sometimes new rides can get buried a bit.  Contact webmaster@bikesclub.org if you’d like to post something on the page

Social / 10–13 MPH B   Rolling Terrain /  McClinchy Mile
Moderate / 13-16 MPH C   Rolling steeper hills / Kitsap Peninsula
Brisk / 16-18 MPH  D   Difficult Terrain /  Whidbey Island

Use this chart and the ride description to determine if a particular ride is right for you. Don’t take on 50 miles when you haven’t done 20, but don’t be afraid to start out with us on a 20-30 mile ride if your butt and legs have handled 15.
