Saturday, May 27: Kenmore-Snohomish round trip.
Meet at Tracy
Owens park at 9 AM. We will take the Burke-Gilman and Slough trails
to Woodinville, then north mostly via the old RSVP route. An
additional objective would be to explore the Eastside RR line
between Woodinville and Snohomish. There has been some speculation
about abandoning the line and turning it into a trail. Part of the
argument is that the northern section of the line is too twisty for
good rail service. Wouldn't it be a good idea to see for ourselves?
30 miles, social pace John Carlin, 425-778-4529.
