Saturday, November 3: Machias - Arlington - Lake Stevens Loop  Meet at Machias Station at 9:40. Ride will start at 10:00. Directions: From Snohomish head North on Maple go to the T, go right then, take a Left on Division St, then a Left in to the Station parking lot. Pace 14 to 17 mph, Distance 53 miles on A/B terrain, no formal lunch but will have a mini mart / expresso type stop. Stormy weather could cancel, also have a 30 mile loop if needed. bobnyberg@msn.com, 206-795-1363.


Saturday, November 3rd: Snohomish, Monroe, Carnation, Redmond, Maltby, Snohomish. Starts at 10:00 AM  in Snohomish at the Centennial trail.  (On Maple before Pine). Bring snack. 55 miles. Pace: moderate/brisk, terrain:C.  Call Pier (425)349-5065 or email: fiorepg@gte.net


Sunday,
November 4: Centennial Trail Ride. Start at the North (Arlington) end of trail at 67th just north of 152nd. Start time 10:00 PM, Social pace, A and some B terrain, about 35-40 miles with a stop in Snohomish for lunch. Rain cancels. Ride leader Doug Andrews’ cell phone day of ride is 425-344-1718. It’s a good idea to bring an extra inner tube and rain resistant top.


Saturday Nov. 10th: Pre/Post-Volunteer Breakfast Ride; earn those ride leader breakfast calories; start in Lowell at Rotary Park, 8:30. Ride to breakfast in Snohomish, then ride after. Route dependent on weather and riders' desire. Dan Scott 425-355-4510. Horrible weather cancels.


Sunday, November 11th: Everett to Snohomish
.  Start near the downtown Everett Public Library @10:30, ride through Everett and out under Hwy 2 to Snohomish, return on Home Acres RD. Social pace, 18 or so miles. Eat after, and return in time for the movie showing at the library at 2:00pm. (The Library will screen Our Daily Bread, directed by Nikolaus Geyhalter. No narration, 92 min. The Nation called this film The 2001: A Space Odyssey of modern food production.). Nasty weather cancels. Dan Scott 425-355-4510.

 
Saturday, November 17th, 24th: Snohomish - Monroe - Snohomish. via: Monroe - High Bridge Rd - Welch Rd. (optional) - Connelly - Springhetti -  Snohomish. Bring snack. Starts at 10:00am  in Snohomish at the Centennial trail. (On Maple before Pine). 35 miles. Pace: moderate/brisk, terrain:B/C. Call Pier (425)349-5065 or email: fiorepg@gte.net

Sunday, November 18th: McCollum Park to Third Place Books.  ~35 miles with C terrain.  Start time is 10am.  Heavy rain  cancels.  Will stop for snacks at 3rd Place Books.  Will regroup as needed.  Social-moderate pace.  Contact Tim Wise 425-754-7916, tcjkwise@verizon.net


Saturday, November 24
: Mukilteo-Lake Forest Park-Shoreline. start at 9:30 AM at 13619 Mukilteo Speedway, Food Emporium  We will do this social/ moderate ride  to Lake Forest Park and south making a loop that returns by the Shoreline Interurban trail improvements. 39 miles A/B terrain with a Snack/ food stop and serious rain cancels. This page is a great resource for last-minute happenings. Page down through the entries because sometimes new rides can get buried a bit.  Contact webmaster@bikesclub.org if you’d like to post something on the page

Brisk / 16-18 MPH  D   Difficult Terrain /  Whidbey Island

Use this chart and the ride description to determine if a particular ride is right for you. Don’t take on 50 miles when you haven’t done 20, but don’t be afraid to start out with us on a 20-30 mile ride if your butt and legs have handled 15.
