From the
President
Thanks to
great volunteers Bicycle Expo was a success. at Expo we sold
about 50 of the 246 pre registered McClinchy registrations.
Talked to hundreds of cyclists and had a really great couple of
days.
A week later
the McClinchy Mile ride, staffed by an all volunteer team of
great members, left Arlington with a minimum amount of mishaps.
A grand total of 386 riders braved the cold and wet conditions.
Although I
don't have the dollar numbers at this time, I can say the club
bank account benefited from the day (exact numbers available at
the next meetings).
Our next event
(although much smaller than above) is April 5th at the REI
Cyclefest 2008 at the Alderwood REI. We will have a table to
give away club info and fliers. A couple of volunteers to lead
a ride and staff the table would be helpful.
Contact Bill
Weber if you have time that day.
Again a great big thank you to all our volunteers for an
excellent and well done job last month.
Bill Weber.
