Weekend Rides

 Saturday April 5th:  Linda & Patty's Birthday Ride Meet Linda and Patty in Snohomish at Maple & Pine Streets at 9:30 a.m. for a ride on the Centennial Trail to the Arlington Trailhead. Mileage will be 35 miles. Social Pace, bring snacks to eat along the way. Lunch will be at the Cabbage Patch after the ride. Heavy rain cancels this ride. Saturday, April 5th: Pre REI Cyclefest ride.  9:30 AM Social pace around the Alderwood area route to be determined, return to the mall by 11:00. Meet near the REI Alderwood store, rain cancels,  Ride leader Bill Weber, call for info (425) 327-3516.

Saturday, April 5: Snohomish - Monroe - Snohomish. via: High Bridge Rd - Welch Rd - Echo Lk - Connelly - Springhetti. Starts at 10:00  in Snohomish at the Centennial trail. (On Maple before Pine). 45 miles. Pace: moderate/brisk, terrain:D. Call Pier (425)349-5065 or email: fiorepg@gte.net

Sunday April 6. Start at the Conway Elementary School 10:00, ride the Tulip Fields, lunch at the Mt. Vernon Co-op. Social+ tulip-gazing pace, regroups as necessary, lousy weather cancels (check first). RSVP Dan & Elaine Scott 425-355-4510

Saturday, April 12: Snohomish - Monroe - Westwick rd - Spada rd - Meadow lk rd. – Carlson - Snohomish. Sunday, April 13: South Sno-North King Loop- Starts at 9:30 AM at 13619 Mukilteo Speedway, Food Emporium.  We will go to Lake Forest Park and south making a loop that returns by the Shoreline Interurban trail. Sunday, April 20: Lake Washington North End - This clockwise loop of the North end of lake Washington will start at 9:00 AM at Log Boom Park, riding through Kirkland , Bellevue, crossing I-90 and returning on the Seattle side. Saturday, April 26th - South Whidbey Loop – 35 mile loop please note this is a hilly ride.  We will be catching the 10AM ferry and stopping in Langley, please bring money for lunch.  I will probably be parking in downtown Everett and riding to the ferry, call if you’d like to do the same.  Rain will cancel.  Mike Snodgrass (360) 653-2384.

Saturday, April 26th, Four Valley's Ride. Meet 8:30 at the Everett Station, 33rd ST and Smith Ave. Ride starts at 8:45 for a Brisk paced 78 mile tour of the scenic Snohomish, Cherry, Snoqualmie and Sky Valley. About 1500' of elevation gain with an optional 2 mile, 400' climb on the Lord Hill challenge.  bobnyberg@msn.com  206-795-1363.

Sunday April 27th: Lilac Century Surprise. Loops of 15, 25, 50, 70 and 100 miles. We plan on riding the 50 mile loop. Social pace, stay together or regroup as desired or report your miles for another loop. Terrain unknown. Use this chart and the ride description to determine if a particular ride is right for you. Don’t take on 50 miles when you haven’t done 20, but don’t be afraid to start out with us on a 20-30 mile ride if your butt and legs have handled 15.
