Greetings!
We
are
two
sisters
from
the
San
Juan
Islands
in
Washington
State
who
are
cycling
from
Seattle
to
San
Francisco
starting
on
May
26th
to
raise
money
for
the
Campaign
to
End
Fistula.
Fistula
is a
childbirth
injury
from
prolonged
labor
and
lack
of
delivery
services
which
occurs
mostly
in
Africa
and
the
Middle
East.
Fistula
leaves
women
dribbling
urine
and
feces
for
the
rest
of
their
lives--condemning
them
to a
life
as
an
outcast,
unable
to
bear
children
or
work.
Our
goal
is
to
raise
$3,000
dollars,
the
cost
of
surgery
and
rehabilitation
for
10
women
from
friends
and
family.
Please
take
a
look
at
our
blog
for
more
information
on
fistula
and
about
us:

If
you
are
receiving
this
email,
we
think
you
can
help!
We
are
in
need
of a
collection
of
cycling
gear
of
which
we
hope
to
beg,
borrow
or
have
donated
(perhaps
from
your
company
or
someone
you
know).
We
have
listed
the
items
below.
The
items
can
either
be
sent
to
Seattle
or
if
you
are
already
in
Seattle,
can
be
picked
up
from
you
in
mid-May
when
we
arrive
in
town.
We
are
more
than
willing
to
resell
the
donated
items
at
the
end
of
our
trip
to
contribute
to
the
campaign.
If
you
cannot
donate
items
now,
consider
donating
money
to
help
our
cause--or
PLEASE
forward
this
email
on
to
people
who
may
be
able
to
help!
Our
mission
is
to
spread
the
word
about
fistula,
which
only
takes
a
few
seconds
of
your
time.
We
very
much
appreciate
your
help
and
do
not
hesitate
to
contact
us!
Together
we
can
take
small
steps
to
help
women
suffering
from
the
unthinkable.
