The trail is open connecting the Centennial Trail to the Bayview Trail in east Marysville.

A 20 mile Machias - Marysville Loop bike route is available via Ride With GPS https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36308088.  A & B terrain and about 800 feet of gain.  Start at Machias Station on the Centennial Trail, ride north 8.25 miles to the Hwy 9 underpass where the Bayview - Centennial Connector Trail is a left turn.  From the Bayview Trail there is a nice view across Marysville to Everett and the Sound beyond.  The route then follows mostly country roads to Soper Hill Rd to cross Hwy 9 and down to Lake Stevens.  Stop at Lundeen Park for a nice view of the lake, then continue around the lake to "downtown" Lake Stevens and more country roads to end back at the Machias Station.

    Notes:

    • The Bayview Trail is a bit hilly and located under power lines which may interfere with GPS devices.
    • When I rode this Wednesday June 9th from 9 - 11 AM, motor traffic on the streets and roads was light.
