Into Skagit County - Briskly Scenic pace

Tuesday August 24th

Meet parking lot at Stanwood Park and Ride - adjacent to I-5 exit 212 - 9:30 AM.  Wheels turn at 9:35 AM. 

Ride figure 8 route into Conway to Mount Vernon and back.  Some hills - approximate 1550 elevation gain.    15 minute break in Mount Vernon at Riverfront Park.   No food stops - Bring your own food.   Bring 2 large water bottles - limited water access.   Regroups on hills.    

Distance 50+ miles.  15 MPH average overall pace at 16-18 mph on flat sections.  ABC Terrain.
