Burlington - North State Rec Area Loop Ride Rev A - 9 AM

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go.  Group size limited to 8 club members including the Ride Leader.  

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph), 35 miles, A & B terrain with maybe 500 (five hundred) feet of elevation gain.  Frequent regroups.

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM roll out at Chuckanut Park & Ride, Burlington, I-5 exit 231.  Chuckanut Park & Ride is easily seen to the right from the exit ramp.

Loop ride on some town streets, Skagit County country roads, a few short sections of WA state Hwys 20 and Old 99N.  Planned stops at the Skagit River edge (~mile 10) and Northern State Recreation Area (~mile 21), which is also the site of the old Northern State Hospital.  We'll ride a couple miles on hard pack gravel trails.  Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch.  Optional coffee / lunch late in the ride at Starbucks (~mile 33).  Bring your own mask.
