Ride Around Lake Sammamish, Steady Pace

Sunday, May 22, is looking favorable for a fun, "social" ride around Lake Sammamish.

We'll meet at the large parking lot on the east side of the 60 Acres South Field in Redmond, WA (turning from Willows Road, drive east on NE 116th St. until you arrive at a hill. At the base of the hill turn right into the parking lot). Restrooms (portapotties) are available at the start.

Please be ready to listen to the safety briefing at 9:50 am. We'll begin our ride at 10 am.

We'll ride from 60 Acres Park counterclockwise around Lake Sammamish, ~30 miles and ~900 ft elevation gain. We'll stop at Lake Sammamish State Park at mile 14 for a snack break and restrooms. Please bring food and water with you for the ride. 

This is a reasonably flat ride with no major hills. We will regroup when necessary. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

The route will deviate slightly from the RWGPS route at the south end of Lake Sammamish to keep us off NW Sammamish Road.
