Mid Lake WA Loop & Shade Hunt Ride

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride.  Group size limited to 8.  

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph), 30 miles, A & B terrain with 1,500 feet of elevation gain. Frequent regroups.

Meet at 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM roll out at Seattle Magnuson Park Public Parking Lot at SE corner of NE 74th St & Sportsfield Dr NE.  Porta-potty usually nearby.

We'll ride twice across the cool Lake Washington and hunt for shady places to regroup and take breaks during this day expected to be sunny and warm.

Loop ride mostly on trails, roads and streets from Magnuson Park to the I-90 Trail across Mercer Island & Lake WA, then the 520 Trail back across Lake WA and return.  Rest stops at Aubrey Davis Park (~mile 12) on Mercer Island and 520 Bridge View Park (~mile 22).  Lunch at Metropolitan Market (~mile 28).
