Ride the Daffodils - Social Pace

Tuesday, March 28th, 10:00 a.m., Mount Vernon @ Skagit River Walk Park.  (near the tulip sculpture)

Arrive a bit early for safety briefing and introductions, and a 10:00 a.m. roll out.  This is a 27 mile, mostly on lower traffic rural roads, but some busier roadways through the farm fields between Mount Vernon and La Conner.    Social pace 10 to 12 mph on the flats.  Virtually all flat (A) terrain.  We will be going over the river on the busier section of Division Street Bridge both coming and going. 

Plan on lots of stops for photos and observations of the fields.  

Restrooms are available at the start and at the rest stop in La Conner also.  

Bring water and substantial snack.  Optional lunch somewhere in Mount Vernon after the ride, to be determined.  Starting at 10, we should be back to the cars/lunch spot after 1:00 or later, depending on stops.
