Silver Lake to Martha Lake - Social Pace Picnic Ride

Silver Lake to Martha Lake - Social Pace (Picnic Ride) 

Saturday, July 29th, 10:00 a.m.

Meet at Hauge Homestead Park at Silver Lake at 9:45 for a 10:00 a.m. start. 

12 mile route will go along a mix of Interurban Trail, arterials, and two lane no-shoulder roadways with varying degrees of traffic and busy crossings.   Expect a few rolling hills, one short steeper climb, but not much overall elevation gain.  Rest stop and turnaround point at Martha Lake Park.   Social pace, 10-11 mph, regroups as needed.   

Group size is limited to 8 due to expected busier roadway conditions.  

We should be back at the park about 11:30 or so, in time for the picnic.  Parking will be a challenge!  There will be limited parking at the Hauge Homestead park lot, and some street parking along Silver Lake Road.
