Meet At Snohomish Library parking lot at 9:45 for a 10:00 departure.

Bet you've never been on Friar Creek Road before! Let's ride an interesting way from Snohomish to Monroe and return, involving a good number of hills (only a couple of short ones over 10%) and about 3 miles of gravel pipeline trail.  Bring your climbing gears, and be ready for loose gravel on a gently rolling pipeline trail; 35MM or wider tires recommended.  You will need to lift your bike over a couple of barriers and under several gates. The trail ends at paved Friar Creek Road that drops quickly to Woods Creek Road for the run into a Starbucks in Monroe. We divert to Yeager Road to avoid some of the traffic on Woods Creek. Return to Snohomish on the Old Snohomish - Monroe Road.

The first 6  miles climb over Dutch Hill to the 3 Lakes Plateau which will take most of an hour, don't worry, we will regroup several times on the way. After that its rolling hills and couple of short climbs before hitting the pipeline trail.

Planned Stops: Snack and restrooms at Woods Creek Monroe Starbucks, mile 17.  There are no other bathroom stops.
