Start location and time: Meet at 10:45 for a 11:00 a.m. roll out. Start at the parking area on the east side of Garfield Park (State Street). The Forecast is 40 degrees at ride start, up to 45-46 by the finish.

Description of route:  Ride on the rural roads out to Snohomish, mostly low traffic roadways with shoulder, but there are some spots where you should be comfortable riding alongside some car traffic.  There are some rolling hills on this ride, nothing too steep.  

Distance, Pace and Terrain Code (A, B, C, D): 20 miles, Steady Pace (12-14 mph) A and B  terrain.

Other important details:  We will stop at Snohomish bakery (for a mid-ride warmup), bring water, snack; tire change equipment.  No restrooms are available at the starting point, so plan accordingly.
