Skagit Acres and Fir Island Lop

Meet in the gravel parking area of Skagit Acres Skagit Acres Google Map at 10:00 a.m. for intro/safety briefing.  10:15 roll out.  

26 mile, steady pace (13-14 on flats) around Fir Island.  I here there is more than a gaggle of snow geese up in that area right now.  All "A" or flat terrain.  Plan on occasional stops for bird watching!  We will take a short side trip to check out the Skagit Wildlife area Wiley Slough.  It's been under construction this past year, so may not be quite open yet.  Warning:  bathroom stops on the island are minimal, as in, may not exist.   Bathroom available at beginning in the Skagit Acres.  Limit of 12 riders on this route.

Edited to add:  I just learned of a possible restroom at about mile 20 on our loop, at Fir Island Farms Reserve, so the mileage is adjusted slightly to include this side trip.
