Social Pace - Easy 15 Mile Trail/Road Loop

Thursday, February 22nd, 10:30 a.m. 

Meet at the gravel parking lot on 102nd Street in Bothell (what they used to call the "Chicken Park") about 10:15 for a 10:30 a.m. roll out.  

This will be an easy winter ride, just 15 mostly flat miles, with most of it on the Sammamish River Trail, but we'll go off trail for a section of roadway with wide shoulders (Willows Road) and a two mile section of hard pack gravel.  You should feel comfortable riding on roadways with light traffic, and comfortable riding on gravel.  Most bikes will do very well on this trail, unless you have super skinny racing tires.  

Social Pace - 10 to 11 mph on flats, regroup as needed.  Optional lunch at Alexa's in Bothell after the ride.

Expected good weather, but worsening forecast or rain in the morning will cancel this ride.  Be sure to check ride updates before leaving if in doubt!  If it's raining that morning I will cancel the ride by 9:00 a.m.
