Meet across from the Verlot Information Station (former Ranger station) east of Granite Falls at 9:45 for a 10:00 start. Ride about 40 miles round trip on the paved part of the Mountain Loop Highway up to Barlow Pass before retuning. Steady pace (12-14mph), snack stop at the Ice Caves picnic area - we will also stop here on the return. Bring snacks, food and water (there is no water available along the way). No map; there is only the one paved road. It is likely to be cool/chilly compared to Everett.

This could be called the Morton Salt ride if you recall their slogan "It never rains but it pours" because of the great possibility of rain in this area - watch Ride Updates. We will reschedule if there's a likelihood of rain.

There is no cell service during this ride, nor at the start.

Steady rain/snow/excessive heat or smoke cancels. Check ride updates.

Group size set at 20 including ride leader. Bring snacks, flat repair equipment. Restroom stops depend upon availability of facilities. E bike riders are responsible for knowing the BIKES club E bike policy found on our website.
