Stanwood – Bay View Metric Mod Ride @ 9 AM

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride. Group size limited to 8. 

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM rollout.

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph).  65 miles, 1,800 feet of gain, A/B terrain.  

Ride from Heritage Park in Stanwood northerly on country roads to Conway (mile 10), Skagit City School (mile 13), Bay View State Park (mile 30) for the picnic lunch you brought, then generally south & east on different roads through Mt Vernon (mile 43), Conway again (mile 49), over I-5, Bonhoeffer Gardens (mile59) back to where we started.  Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch.  Rest stops along the way as needed.

This route may have tight turns and short sections with narrow gravel paths and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
