Sisco Heights from Machias - Steady

Tuesday, August 12 STEADY PACE 

Let’s meet at the Machias Trailhead on the Centennial Trail in time for a safety briefing and 9:30am departure.

We will ride the trail and roads to Arlington with a coffee/treat stop at Silver Scoop. If you prefer, bring your own picnic to enjoy at Legion Park. The return will be through Lake Stevens.

The ride is 35 miles, less than 1000 ft of elevation gain but we will be climbing at times. 12-14 mph pace

It will be a warm day, be prepared with adequate water/electrolytes, sunscreen, etc. Poor air quality may cancel the ride, please check Ride Updates.

Restrooms are available at the start and midpoint in Arlington, as well as along the trail. Bring supplies to repair a flat or fix a minor mechanical issue. E-bike riders should understand the club policy regarding such bikes as outlined on the website.
