Carnation Over the Ridge

Meet at 9:45 for a 10:00 departure.
Description of route: This is a tour of the South Snoqualmie Valley via gravel and farm roads. From Carnation we will cruise on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail (SVT) to Fall City. A long gradual climb up to the Snoqualmie Ridge takes us to a thrilling decent on Lake Alice Road to Fall City and return gently through the farm roads back to Carnation.

Other important details: The SVT us hard packed gravel, any bike with 25CM or wider tires should be fine. The climb from Fall City to the Ridge is a challenging 2 miles with portions of 6 to 10 percent. Lake Alice Road decent is twisty with a brief 17% drop, be ready to brake!
