Row River Trail - Cottage Grove Oregon - Friday, Oct 2

Day 1 of our Roseburg, OR long weekend.  Meet at Bohemia Park in Cottage Grove, OR at 9:30am for a 10am start.  We'll ride the Row River Trail out and back route that keeps us off busy roads both directions.  RideWithGPS links for both the out and back and full loop are below. Also posted below is a link to an Oregon Bureau of Land Management site that gives highlights of the Row River Trail area and details about the route. 

The Out and Back route is about 32 miles with a little less than 1000 ft of elevation gain.  We'll ride at a pace for all to enjoy the area, which means stopping for pictures and to take in some scenery.  We may be required to do a bit of route scouting as this area is new to the ride leader.

Bring a lunch to eat en route and water for your needs.  No food or water is available on the trail.  The BLM info says there are restrooms available periodically.

There could be some rough patches and/or roots on the paved path.  Be prepared to ride with the group and have necessary repair material with you in case of bike equipment failure.
