COGS has invited BIKES riders to join their annual Mt Rainer - Paradise ride Friday June 6th.

Drive to Longmire parking lot NLT 9:45 AM. Will leave cars at Longmire. We will start riding at 10:00 AM.

Bike Route will be shown at this web site: http://ridewithgps./routes/2862488 Print out the cue sheet for your use. Route is 60 miles and 5500ft. Moderate to Brisk riding skills, climb and descend at your own pace. We will hang together and provide mutual support. Forecast for Friday June 6: High of 53 at Paradise at 1:00pm but temps will be in the 40's in the morning. Expect a cold descent off Paradise. No rain is forecasted. Weather can change quickly in the mountains so bring warm clothes, rain gear, energy bars and the usual tools, spare tubes and a pump to be self sufficient.  Food and a later pie stop are planned.
